# Orchestra > Orchestra is an open-source desktop workspace for macOS and Linux that brings projects, terminals, and coding agent CLIs into one app. Orchestra uses your installed agent CLIs and their existing authentication and configuration. New sessions get an isolated Git worktree by default. Project and session metadata are stored locally. Orchestra is licensed under the MIT License. The documentation below describes implemented features, setup, and limitations. Consult it for agent-specific behavior and platform requirements. The website's interactive app preview is illustrative. ## Documentation - [Welcome to Orchestra](https://theorchestra.dev/docs): A macOS and Linux workspace for your projects, terminals, and coding agents. - [Installation](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/installation): Download Orchestra from GitHub Releases, or build it from source. - [Projects & sessions](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/projects): Organize your work around folders, with an isolated worktree and terminal for every session. - [Supported agents](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/agents): Use the agent CLIs you already know, with their own configuration and credentials. - [Profiles](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/profiles): Use different Claude Code and Codex accounts, such as work and personal, in the same workspace. - [Terminal](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/terminal): A real interactive terminal, running your agent or shell in its own folder. - [Sidebar & navigation](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/navigation): Arrange the sidebar, switch projects with Arc Mode, and keep track of activity. - [Saved workspace & resume](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/resume): Return to your projects and continue a captured agent conversation. - [Issues & pull requests](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/github): Read and triage repository context, then start an agent session without leaving Orchestra. - [Session messaging](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/messaging): Exchange requests and replies between existing sessions in the same project. - [Appearance](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/appearance): Choose a palette for the whole workspace, including your terminals. - [Custom themes](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/custom-themes): Create your own palette in a JSON file and use it beside the built-in themes. - [Usage](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/usage): See subscription limits for your agents and OpenRouter spend by model. - [Settings & storage](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/storage): General preferences and where Orchestra keeps workspace metadata and message history. - [Privacy & usage data](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/privacy): Optional anonymous usage sharing, approximate city and country, and every collected event. - [Keyboard shortcuts](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/shortcuts): The everyday actions you can reach from the keyboard. - [Contributing](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/contributing): Report issues, propose changes, and build Orchestra locally. - [FAQ](https://theorchestra.dev/docs/faq): Answers to the questions that come up before your first session. ## Optional - [Website](https://theorchestra.dev/): Product overview and downloads. - [Changelog](https://theorchestra.dev/changelog): Published release notes.
